Simon Says Stamp – Newton’s Nook Designs STAMPtember® 2022 Exclusive Collaboration

Hi Crafty Friends! I’m super excited to share today’s STAMPtember exclusive collaboration with Newton’s Nook Designs! This fun Warm and Cozy Wishes stamp set that’s perfect for cozy holiday cards, and just because cards!

I created my card using a fall theme, cause y’all know I love all things fall! I started by stamping the sofa from the Warm and Cozy Wishes stamp set along with Newton the cat, and two cushions, and colored them using copic markers, and fussy cut the images as I don’t have the dies. Next I stamped the large image from the Fall Friends stamp set. I only colored part of the images and fussy cut it.

These are the copic combos I used.

To finish off the card, I cut a strip of pattern paper from the Autumn Paper Pad, and added it to the bottom of my card front. Next I added the sofa image using foam tape, then I tucked in the partial images from the Fall Friends stamp set behind the sofa images so that you can’t see the incomplete part. I finished off my adding the cushions and cat on to the sofa using liquid glue, and stamping a sentiment.

I hope you like this adorable set and the card I’ve made! Thanks so much for stopping by today and if you like this set, grab it before it sells out! As it’s a STAMPtember exclusive and won’t be restocked!

Pumpkin Spice and Fall Leaves | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Tuesday! Welcome back to my crafty corner on the internet! Always grateful for y’all stopping by! So, how many stamps are too many on one card? Well, let’s keep count and circle back after the card details have been shared!

I love fall crafting and this card is a true representation of that love! To create this card, I started by stamping the image from Newton’s Mug, before starting to color, I also stamped the pumpkin in the center from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set. I colored the image using copic markers (shown below), and die cut it out using the coordinating Newton’s Mug Die Set.

I assembled the card, starting with a card base dry embossed using the Falling Leaves Stencil. Next I heat embossed the image from the Fall Fringe stamp set in gold on to vellum, I trimmed it down using my paper trimmer, and offset it on the card base.

For the sentiment, I used one from the Signs of Fall stamp set, and embossed it in gold, on to a banner die cut from the Frames & Flags Die Set and teal card stock. Lastly I added the colored image to finish off the card.

So, what do you think, too many stamp sets? I’ll try and make a simple card next time!

Pretty Pink Posh

Pop up Scarecrow Card

Happy First Day of Fall, Y’all! Unpopular opinion, but I am ready fall! The smoke is here, so need the rains to come and clear it up! I’m looking forward to cooler days, football games and lot more crafty sessions!

Sharing a kinda over the top card today! I tried to make my first interactive card! A lot went wrong, but I still wanted to share it, as art isn’t perfect and motivate those of your too intimidated to create interactive cards!

To create this card I started by die cutting the card base from Lawn Fawn‘s Peekaboo Pop-Up twice from white card stock.

I made a valley fold on one of the die cuts and stamped the row of pumpkins along the top from Pretty Pink Posh‘s Fall Borders stamp set. After coloring the image with copic markers, I fussy cut the top half, you can also use the NEW coordinating die cuts to partially die cut, but they hadn’t been released when I started this card!

Next I created a mask and inked up the bottom of the pumpkins using distress oxides inks in Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber, and splattered it with some gold paint.

Next I inked up the second die cut, this time scoring with a mountain fold. After scoring I inked it up with distress oxides inks in Wilted Violet, Salvaged Patina, and Broken China. I also splattered it with some gold paint.

Next I stamped, colored and die cut a bunch of images from multiple Pretty Pink Posh stamp sets. Here are the sets and coordinating :
1. Fall Signs : Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies
2. Fall Corners : Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies
3. Cozy Fall Critters : Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies

I used A LOT of copic markers and remembered to take a picture for y’all!

With all the elements colored and shaded, I started to assemble the card, first by adding the pop up arm, and playing around with the placement if all the leaves. I ended up not using the pumpkins.

Finally finishing off the card by adhering everything together!

Thanks for following along on a very long blog post! I really hope this inspires you to create something new or attempt something you have been avoiding!

Happy Tuesday! I hope that y’all had a productive start to the week! My Monday was so productive I’m ready for the weekend, LOL! Well more like I’m ready for my crafty time!

Popping in today to share a card I made using the new Honey Bee Stamps release! I loved ALL the fall things from this release, so I’m so glad that I got to play with some!

To create this card, I started by stamping one of the images from the On The Line: Fall Florals stamp set with brown copic friendly ink onto white card stock. I colored it in using the colors shown below and then die cut one side only using the coordinating On The Line: Fall Florals die cuts.

To finish off the card, I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the same On The Line: Fall Florals stamp set with gold embossing powder. And added it to a card front layered with the Ornate A2 Cover Plate Base along with the Ornate A2 Cover Plate Top Dies.

I hope you enjoyed this quick CAS card! Make sure to tag @honeybeestamps and me, @everydayengineered, if you are inspired by this card and create something!

Night skies and Witch Boos | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Monday crafty friends! I hope y’all had an amazing weekend and got in a bunch of crafty time! Halloween is growing on me it seems, as I am back with another Halloween card! This time with a night sky in background!

I’ve recently been trying to take more process pictures while crafting, as I know many of you appreciate them!

I started to create this card, by die cutting a circle and inking it up using distress oxide inks in Scattered Straw, Fossilized Amber and Wild Honey, to create a moon.

Next I inked up the negative space create the night sky, again using distress oxides, this time in twisted citron, lucky clover, chipped sapphire and black soot.

Next I added the two die cut pieces to a card front and splattered it with gold paint and let it dry.

Next I stamped and colored a image of a witch from Newton’s Nook Designs Brooms & Boos using the copic markers shown in the picture above. After coloring, I die cut it using the coordinating die from Brooms & Boos Die Set.

I finished off the card by embossing a sentiment from the Brooms & Boos stamp set on to a banner die cut from the Banner Trio Die Set using black card stock and gold embossing powder. I also embossed some stars in gold on to black card stock along with some bats in black on to white card stock, and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

I finished off the card my adhering the colored image along with all the embossed pieces as “embellishments” and the sentiment using a combination of glue and foam tape for dimension.

‘Leftover’ Rainbow Shaker Card | MFT Stamps

I love making 2 for 1 cards! More bang for your time, so why not! I shared a CAS card a while back and decided to save the negative space and use it and create a shaker! I was so quick and easy to put together, and it’s a birthday card that I always need a million of LOL!

As I mentioned, I created this card from a negative die cut left over using My Favorite Things Celebrate with Cake Die. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Worn LipstickWild HoneyTwisted CitronPeacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet. I splatted it with water and dried it with a towel, before die cutting! Then I embossed the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Celebrate Everything stamp set using black embossing powder. Next I back it with some acetate and filled it with sequins.

I finished off the card by die cutting some flames from some scrap cardstock backed with low tack tape so it stays in place so that I could color it using copic markers in Y13 and Y38. Once adhered to the card front, I added some glossy accents to give it some dimension.

Thanks for following along today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something!

Bunch of Balloons Shaker Card | Spellbinders

Summer was BUSY! As fun as it was, I am ready for football season, rainy crafty nights in and pumpkin patches! I have a thing for rainbows, plus I have a bunch of card from the summer that never made it on to my blog, so you’ll see a few of them pop up once in a while, like today!

I created this card for ScrapbookPal a few months ago and all most products are still available! Birthday cards are my most used cards, and I love being able to create gender neutral ones too!

I started my choosing out my dies from the Spellbinders Color Block Balloons and trimming down a piece of white cardstock to an A2 size.

I die cut the largest balloon from the A2 sized cardstock, saving both sides to use for a shaker. I cut the remaining pieces from a single sheet.

I colored the die cut pieces using copic markers.

I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Spellbinders It’s Party Time stamp set in black on to the card front.

I added acetate to the back of the card front and added A LOT of foam tape to create the shaker, and added the matching balloon on to the shaker back so it peeks through!

I added the remaining balloons and the strings! Don’t forget to trim the ends off!

Thanks for following along today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something!

Hello crafty friends! I hope that your week is going well! I have been trying to come on here since Monday, so clearly my week has been busy! Can’t wait to wrap up some real life projects to that I can get back to fall crafting, as it’s my favorite time of year to craft as I LOVE all things fall, including ALL the coffee stamps that are released! I was so excited to be able to add the Fall Calls for Lattes stamp set to my collection!

To create this card :

I started by stamping all latte and leaves from the Fall Calls for Lattes stamp set on to heavy weight white paper with Honey Bee Stamps Intense Black Ink and colored it using copic markers.

These are the copic markers that I used.

Next I die cut the images using the coordinating dies and played around with my layout, I ended up not using all the pieces that I colored.

I stamped and embossing the sentiment using VersaFine Ink in Onyx Black and clear embossing powder, and ink blended on to the center of the card front to highlight the colored die cuts using Salvaged Patina distress oxide.

I finished off the card by gluing everything together using a combination of foam tape and liquid adhesive, and adding a few jewels.
