Welcome to Day 3 of Newton’s Nook Designs‘ Halloween Inspiration Week!
This week Newton’s Nook Designs is getting ready for Halloween with a fun Inspiration week! All week the NND Design Team will be sharing inspiration using some of their favorite Halloween products to get you in the mood for tricks and treats! Check out what I created today and don’t forget to check the NND Blog each day this week for more fun inspiration!
To create my card, I started stamping the witch from our Brooms & Boos Stamp Set. I colored the image using copic markers (see below for combination) and cut it out using the coordinating Brooms & Boos Die Set.
Next I used distress oxide inks to ink up the Jack-o’-lantern Stencil Set, this time inking up all 3 layers!
Lastly, I used the Spiderweb Oval Stamp Set, stamped and embossed the spiderweb onto vellum, and fussy cut it out. I used it to back the colored image so it doesn’t get lost in the inked background. I finished off with a sentiment “Witching you a Happy Halloween” embossed onto a banner from the Frames & Flags Die Set.
