Pretty Pink Posh

Palestine Inspired Card | Pretty Pink Posh

This card is part of an Instagram blog hop, so I thought I would link the products/how I made the card here the blog.

I started with an A2 piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and inked it up using black, red and green ink (inspired by the Palestinian flag) through Pretty Pink Posh’s Wide Stripes Stencil. I removed the stencil and added some water splatters.

Next I embossed (in gold) the sentiment from the Simple Sayings: Kind Stamp Set and added a mosque dome die cut using Altenew’s Mosaic Dome Die Set cut from golden glitter card stock.

Vellum Florals | Honeybee Stamps

Happy Hump Day! Sharing a card today using my new crafty favorite, white pigment ink! I don’t know why I haven’t used it before!

To create this card, I started by ink blending an A2 card panel with a blue, purple and pink ink. Then I added white pigment ink using the Whimsical Hearts stencil. I created a stacked word die cut sentiment from the Bitty Buzzwords die set.

When I placed it on the inked background, it got lost a bit, so I backed it with a floral stamp from Farm Fresh Flowers stamp set stamped and embossed on vellum. And as usual I finished off the card with some jewels!

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow is Eid, so I got TONS to do popping in with a quick birthday card with minimum coloring!

To create this card, I stared by die cutting an ombre purple sheet from the Playful Pastels paper pad with the Quatrefoil A2 Cover Plate – Top. I adhered it to an A2 top folding notecard, added stacked diecuts from the Bitty Buzzwords die set, cut from black card stock. Lastly I accented the card with some floral images from the Fancy Frosting stamp set, that I colored but hadn’t previously used!

Layers of Butterflies | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Tuesday! I’m finally sharing a NON Eid card! Don’t worry, there’s plenty of Eid inspiration over on my Instagram! Today’s card is using some of my favorite Newton’s Nook Design products, the Heartfelt Butterflies along with the Butterflies Stencil Set.

To create this card I started with a A2 piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and the solid layer of the Butterflies Stencil Set, and inked it up using Distress Oxides (in Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet). I lined up and added the second layer of the stencil and added the details using white pigment ink. Make sure to set it aside to dry for a bit!

Now with the background drying, I heat embossed the image from the Heartfelt Butterflies stamp set with gold embossing powder on to vellum, and die cut it using the largest scallop heart from the Heart Frames Die Set. Lastly I heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set on to a die cut from the Banner Trio Die Set.

I hope this card inspires you to create something for spring! Please make sure to stop by the Newton’s Nook Designs Blog for more inspiration and don’t forget to tag #NewtonsNook or #NewtonsNookDesign on Instagram to share what you created!

Wax seals as sentiments | Eid on the Feed

Why hello there! It’s been a minute, as much as I enjoy sharing, the blogging/photography/editing gets a little boring and I use my spare time to go and craft! I posted these cards on my instagram feed a while back, but never made it to the blog to share product links and such!

To create these cards, I started by printing images from Clear and 88’s Bold Bouquet Stamp Set. I colored them using Studio 71 Watercolor Pencils and fussy cut them.

To create the backgrounds, I die cut Pink Fresh Studio’s Geo Floral and Geo Leaf Background Die from white card stock. Then I lightly ink blended on the card base with a blue ink to add some depth, before adhering the cover die cuts.

Lastly I finished of the card with some wax seals from Wax Seals By Aisha.

Thanks for stopping by the blog and I hope this inspires you to create Eid cards with non eid specific products!

Rainbow Balloons | Honey Bee Stamps

What type of card do you make the most? For me it was thank you cards, now it’s birthday cards (I still have to work on the sending part!). And when a brand has a birthday themed release, you know that I’m all for it! Thanks to Honey Bee Stamps I finally have a balloon stencil!

Stencils and ink blending are one of the easiest ways to create a quick but fancy looking card! To create this card, I started with an A2 piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and adhered the large balloon stencil. I inked it up in rainbow order using distress oxides in Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries, Ripe Persimmon, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. The I used the second layer of smaller balloons with white pigment ink to create a shadow look.

I finished off the card with a stacked ‘happy birthday’ die cuts from Bitty Buzzwords die set.

This card is part of the Honey Bee Stamps Instagram hop. So head over to my Instagram to start hopping and be inspired!

Thanks for stopping by! Till the next time stay safe!

Sneak Peaks Day 4 | Honey Bee Stamps

It’s time again for a brand new release from Honey Bee Stamps! Today’s the last day of sneak peaks!

I’ve really been trying to experiment with different card making styles, so today I made a no stamp AND no coloring card, surprised?? Y’all know that I love ALL the color and ALL the layers, so this was definitely out of my comfort zone!

To create this card, I started my dry embossing the die cuts from the Lovely Layer : Hydrangeas, randomly arranging them on an A2 piece of white card stock to create a textured background.

To finish off the card, I die the “happy birthday” (in black) and the shadow in vellum from the Bitty Buzzwords die cuts.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Today I’m using the new Apron die cut, along with some other baking inspired products. This release has been so much fun for the baker in me!

To create this card, I started by die cutting the pieces of the apron from a sheet of pattern paper from the team tie dye paper pad and assembled it using double sided tape. Next I stamp and colored some of the images from the baked with love stamp set with alcohol markers, and cut them using the coordinating dies, and tucked them into the ‘pocket’.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the baked with love stamp set on to the pocket.
