It’s time again for a brand new release from Honey Bee Stamps! We will be sharing sneak peak daily till May 3rd so make sure to stop by daily for new peaks!
For today’s card, I decided to step out of my comfort zone to use pattern paper, along with the balloon stamps from Fancy Frosting stamp set. I stamped, colored them with copics, restamped and heated embossed with silver embossing powder, and lastly die cut them using the coordinating dies.
When trying to add them to the pattern paper that I chose from the Funfetti Birthday paper pad, which was also going to be the sentiment, they were getting lost so I added a piece of vellum to allow the balloons to pop a bit more.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to head over to Instagram for more inspiration!
Happy Friday! This week Newton’s Nook Designs and Therm O Web partnered for a fabulous inspiration week! All week long both design teams have be sharing ways to add use Therm O Web products with Newton’s Nook Designs stamps, dies and stencils! There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win!
Today I’m sharing a pair of fun cards showing you how to use 2 different Therm O Web products to enhance your cards.
I combined multiple Therm O Web products, along with some of my favorite Newton’s Nook Designs stamps and stencils to create these cards.
For my first card, I started by adding Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo to some white card stock using the Petite Clouds Stencil and letting it dry. Once it was dry to the touch, I layered it with Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets, Blue Sky and ran it through my mini minc machine. I love the finished look so much and even the negetive piece looks like it can be used (so of course I saved it!)
To create the scene, I layered an ink blended hill and grass die cuts, and added colored images from the following sets; Puppy Friends and Gnome Garden stamp sets.
For my second card, I stamped and colored one of my favorite stamps, Heartfelt Roses with copic markers and die cut is using the larger scallop heart from Heart Frames Die Set, I also die cut the smaller scallop heart, stamped a sentiment from the Puppy Friends stamp set, and added a little purple ink to make it pop.
Welcome back! Popping back in again today to share another pair of cards using the Mini Muslims Stamp Set from DStampss.
For this pair of cards, I used the two images of the “little Muslims” reading the Quran. After coloring, I fussy cut the images. To create the scene, I ink blended a focal point on the card front using the Eid & Ramadan Stencils and some mustard color ink. Next I stamped and fussy cut the “prayer mat” from an older My Monthly Hero Art card kit.
Lastly, I adhered the “mat” with liquid glue and the little character with some foam tape, stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set, Mini Muslims Stamp Set and added some jewels.
I hope these card inspire you to create for Eid! If you need more ideas, you can find them here.
Hi! I’m Farhana and I hoard pattern paper and crafting supplies! Like seriously! I have no idea when and where I got the paper that I used on this card, and the die has been in my ‘to use’ pile since January!
When shopping I’m super ambitious and think that I will make ALL the interactive cards, but clearly there’s not even a handful on the blog! For today’s card, I kept most of it simple, as it took me a while to get to put together the interactive part. I used the Fortune Cookie Slider die from Honey Bee Stamps.
I die cut all the pieces from white card stock, inked blended them and added a sentiment Fortunate To Have You stamp set.
Ooo… looks who’s back and that even with a Eid card! When DStampss sent me her Mini Muslims Stamp Set, it was the perfect opportunity to practice some skin tone coloring! No where near perfect, but I’m happy with the results!
As you may have noticed over the past week or so, I have been trying to create CAS (clean and simple) cards, and I’ve been enjoying embracing the “white space”. So for these cards, instead of inking the whole background or adding a cover die cut, I cut a masjid/mosque shade die (min is from an old My Monthly Hero card kit, but you can use a Cricut or hand cut one using a stencil) to create the focal point of my card.
I heat embossed the lantern image from the Lanterns and Little dua Makers stamp set with white embossing powder, and ink blending on to it. I buffed it with a cloth after to let the embossing peak through. Then I stamped, colored and fussy cut the two images holding balloons. I adhered them using foam tape for a little added dimension. Lastly I stamped the sentiment using black ink.
I hope that this inspired you to create Eid cards to share with friends and family! Please tag me @everydayengineered on Instagram when you create something! I’d love to see it!
Happy Thursday! It’s reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Heartfelt Butterflies, Heartfelt Blooms, Mom and Dad stamp set (works with Heart Frames and Banner Trio Dies). Here’s how I was inspired!
To assemble the card, I used a top folded A2 card base, adhere the vellum heart, slightly offset and place the gnome on it using foam tape. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the same Heartfelt Butterflies stamp set.
For my second card, I used the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set, I love the image so much I didn’t want to take away from it, so I stamped, copic colored and then embossed it in gold, before cutting out with the largest scallop heart from the Heart Frames Die Set. To assemble the card I dry embossed the new Petite Cloud Stencil on to an A2 top folding note card and heat embossed a sentiment from the new Mom and Dad stamp set onto a banner cut from the Banner Trio Die Set.

Happy Wednesday! It’s reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Puppy Friends stamp set and coordinating die. Here’s how I was inspired!
As you can see I have been sticking to CAS cards for this release! For this card, I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting one of the puppies from the Puppy Friends stamp set and cutting it with the coordinating die.
To create the background, I started by dry embossing the new Petite Cloud Stencil on the card based. Then I heat embossed the Floral Roundabout stamp offset on to a stitched rectangle die cut from the Frames and Flags die set. Then I inked it up a little to add some depth and added a sentiment in the corner. And as always added some jewels to finish up the card.
Would you like to win the “Puppy Friends” Stamp Set? This stamp set will be given away to ONE lucky winner!

Happy Tuesday! It’s reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Captivated Kittens stamp set and coordinating die. Here’s how I was inspired!
To create this card I started by stamping, coloring (with copics and added accents with a white gel pen) die cutting one of the images from the Captivated Kitten stamp set. To create the background, I used the solid stencil from the Butterflies Stencil Set and inked it up with yellow, orange and pink ink.
When assembling the card I felt I made the background too bold, so I die cut a vellum circle using the Circle Frames Die Set and embossed a sentiment from the Captivated Kittens stamp set onto it. Lastly as always I added a few jewels to finish off the card.
Would you like to win the “Captivated Kittens” Stamp Set? This stamp set will be given away to ONE lucky winner!

Happy Monday! It’s reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Gnome Garden and Bleeding Heart stamp sets and coordinating dies & Petite Cloud Stencil. Here’s how I was inspired!
I’ve recently been trying to make more CAS cards and ’embrace the white space’.
For my first card, I used the Gnome holding the flower image from the Gnome Garden stamp set, colored (with copics) and die cut using the coordinating die. I masked, stamped and embossed part of the Blooming Botanicals stamp set. I inn blended one the embossing before removing the masking, to achieve the straight edges.
Lastly I added a sentiment from the same Gnome Garden stamp set, along with some jewels to match the ink blending.
Using the Bleeding Heart stamp set, I made a pair of ‘mini cards’. I die cut the scalloped rectangle from the Slimline Frame & Portholes Die Set and folded it in half to make the card base.
I stamped and colored (with copics) the large image from the Bleeding Heart stamp set, and die cut it using the coordinating die. I adhered it to my card base using liquid glue and stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set. Lastly I added some matching jewels.
Would you like to win the “Gnome Garden” or the “Bleeding Heart” Stamp Set? We will choose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!
