Heffy Doodle and Honey Bee Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop

Happy Saturday! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Honey Bee Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop! Make sure to scroll to the end to see all the other participants! For my card, I decided to step out of my comfort zone with some space themed stamps! I used some slimline dies from Honeybee stamps and paired it with space stamps from Heffy Doodle.

I started by die cutting a slimline base using the Slimline Sentiments: Stitched | Honey Cuts from black cardstock. I also die cut a cloud border using the Horizon Slimline Borders | Honey Cuts from the same black cardstock. I then inked it up using distress oxide ink (in mermaid lagoon, fossilized amber, dusty concord and black soot) to create the galaxy background. I finished off the backgrounds with some water splatters, along with some silver watercolor.

I stamped and colored all the images from Spaced Out Clear Stamps and colored them with copic markers, and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I layered the cloud border onto the slimline card base using foam tape for added dimension, and then scattered all the colored images around to create the scene. I adhered them with both liquid and foam tape to add more some dimension.

Yay! You made it this far! Now … Make sure to comment along the way for your chance to win! Honey Bee Stamps will be giving away $30 and Heffy Doodle will be giving away £25 to their respective stores!  Be sure to comment before 11:59 PM on Feb 3rd to be entered to win!

Each company will post their random winner on Feb 4th  at 10AM EST!  Make sure to check the Heffy Doodle Blog and Honey Bee Stamps Blog to see if you’re a winner!

Not 2 Shabby

Monochormatic #Manuary Birthday Card | Not 2 Shabby Stamps

Happy Friday! Yay weekend! My plans include hot drinks, crafting and slow cooker chili! Maybe some cookies, we’ll see!

And speaking of cookies, it’s all over my card today! I used the chocolate chip cookie image from Not 2 Shabby Stamp’s Sprinkled with Love stamp set, copy pasted it multiple times to create a background. After printing it, I die cut it using a scalloped rectangle and added a die cut sentiment cut from brown glitter cardstock, and added a few jewels.

This card is part of Crystal Komora’s #manuarycards. If you are inspired please remember to tag her! And if you want to make masculine cards ALL year, then tag #manuarycardsallyear.

Joy Clair Designs

Floral Coffee Mug | Joy Clair Designs

Hi there! Popping in today with an quick card using digital stamps from Joy Clair Designs. I used the layering trick again to add a floral image to a coffee cup! We all know that I love me some coffee cards!

I used the coffee cup from the Coffee Mood stamp set and the flower from the Hello There stamp set, both of which are digital! That means no masking! Just layering the png files! After printing and coloring, I fussy cut it out. I ink blended the card base and added a piece of pattern paper, before adding the colored image with some foam tape. And stamped a little sentiment strip using the driving by clear stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh

Rainbow Shaped Cards | Paper Crafters Against Racism Instagram Hop

Happy Saturday y’all! Popping in quickly to share the details of cards that I just shared on Instagram.

To create these card I die cut the rainbow using the Rainbow Card Die from Ellen Hutson from heavy weight cardstock, making sure to cut the base twice. Then I ink blended the rainbow strips using Distress Oxide Inks (in festive berries, scattered straw, cracked pistachio, tumbled glass, shaded lilac). After assembling the rainbow, I scored a 1/4 inch of the second card base and used double sided tape to adhere it to the back of the rainbow. Lastly I added a sentiment from Simple Sayings: Kind Stamp Set, and sentiment die cut ‘Welcome Little One‘ and ‘Happy Birthday‘.

Not 2 Shabby

Rainbow Cupcake Card | Not 2 Shabby Stamps

Happy Friday! Wheew! It’s been a busy week on the blog! But I’m not done yet 🙂 Today I’m sharing a card using digitals stamps from Not 2 Shabby.

I started by resizing the cupcake image from the Sprinkled with Love stamp set, and printing it multiple times. Then I colored them in rainbow order using copics ( E57-27, E37-15, B32-24, V17-15, YG01-03, YR16-Y35, Y11-13, R14-32, R21-22) and fussy cut it.

I created the background using a slimline die and stencil, along with distress oxide inks (in spun sugar, festive berries, dried marigold, scattered straw, cracked pistachio, tumbled glass, shaded lilac). I die a scripty word sentiment to finish off the card.

Joy Clair Designs

Foiled and floral single layer card | Joy Clair Designs

Hi back again for a quick post! I’m sharing a one layer card made with some digital stamps from Joy Clair Designs.

I decided to keep this card single layer as I didn’t want to take away from the Rose Heart image from the Full Heart Digital Set so I sized it along with a sentiment to fit on a A2 panel. After coloring it with copic markers, I foiled it to add some shine, trimmed it down and added it to a coordinating card base.

And now I can share the theme for my next “ammismakecards” instagram hop with fellow mommy crafters! It’s ‘single layer’, no dimension, no foam tape, no layers! You get the idea 🙂 If you’d like to join, please send me a message on Instagram and I’ll add you to the group text!

Newtons Nook Designs

Newton’s Nook Designs January Release – Day 4 – Newton’s Mug & Love Café + coordinating dies

Today’s the last reveal day at Newton’s Nook Designs. Today we are showcasing the Newton’s Mug & Love Café stamp sets and coordinating dies. These to sets might be my favorite cause we all know how I love my coffee!

For this pair of cards, I wanted to show a easy way to ‘color’ and as you can see, a more elaborate way!

For my first card using the Newton’s Mug stamp set, I did a little paper piecing to add color to the mug, I thought the little balls on the paper look like yarn ball and will work perfectly with Newton! For the background of the card, I embossed the card front using the Mugs Stencil, then I embossed the heart from the Heartfelt Love stamp set. I die cut it using the scallop heart from the Heart Frames die set and trimmed off the ‘scallops’.

For the second card, I stamped the pair of the mugs from the Love Cafe stamp set to cover a A2 panel and colored them using copic markers. I embossed the sentiment from the Love Cafe stamp set on to some vellum and die cut it using a frame from the Frames Squared Die Set and adhered it over the corner were I messed up my coloring!

Would you like to win the “Newton’s Mug” or the “Love Café” Stamp Set?We will choose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!

Here’s how to win: Comment on the NND blog and Design Team blogs (see list below)! The winner will be chosen at random from the collective reveal posts. Make sure to check out each of their blogs and comment for your chance to win. You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning! You have until Thursday January 21st at 9pm EST to comment  — winners will be announced on the blog post on Friday, January 2nd.
