Ink Swiping | Concord and 9th

Happy almost weekend! Popping in today with a ‘5 min’ card! This card was inspired by a friend on instagram.

I started by embossing the floral image and sentiments from the Concord and 9th Hello Lovely. Then I swiped the ink using Gina K ink cubes (in passionate pink, wild dandelion, and blue lagoon). That’s it! This is a great technique to use when mass producing cards!

Kraft Slimline card (with Concord and 9th)

Happy Saturday y’all! Does it really matter anymore what day it is? I feel like I’m living the same day over and over again in an infinite loop. Super grateful that I have my crafting stash to distract me and give me an outlet! All that hoarding is playing off! Speaking of hoarding, this card is made using a really old Concord and 9th set, but it was brand new in my stash!

Copic coloring on Kraft paper is one on my favorite techniques, I especially love using it for fall cards, as the muted effect works well with fall colors! I started off by die-cutting a slimline card front from kraft paper, then stamping the large floral bouquet from the Hello lovely set using brown copic friendly ink. Then I colored in the image, using the copic combos listed below.

Copic Combos : YG 67-63-03, G 94-YG 63-21, RV 69-66-63, V 17-15-12, RV 09

Once I was done coloring, I heat embossed a large thanks sentiment on the open space, and added some clear and Golden nuvo drops to finish of the card before adhering it to a white 3.5 x 8.5 card base.

Thanks for stopping by and as always here’s a list of products I used :

Hello Lovely Stamp Set – Concord and 9th
Large Thanks – Honey Bee Stamps
Slim cut basic creative cuts
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink
Copic Markers
Neenah dessert storm
Heavy weight white cardstock
Nuvo Drops

Till the next time, stay sane, safe and crafty!
