Charcuterie from Paper! | Honey Bee Stamps

Welcome back for the last day of sneak peaks for the Autumn Splendor release coming tonight from Honey Bee Stamps. Today I’m sharing a quick card using the new So Char-CUTE-rie stamp set along with some coordinating products! This set is so much fun to color and use!

To create this card, I started by stamping and coloring all the images from the So Char-CUTE-rie stamp set (sone of then multiple times, but I also ended up not using all of them!), and die cutting them using the coordinating dies.

Next I started to create the “scene” for the card, staring with a Kraft A2 card base, then I added another layer to be the “table cloth” using the Quilted A2 Cover Plate die, cut from Kraft card stock and inked up with a light pink ink and the coordinating Quilted Hearts & Dots Stencils. I added it offset to the card base and trimmed off the edges. The last piece before adding the colored images, was the “cutting board”, I die cut the Cutting Board die from the same Kraft paper, but this time added a bit of brown ink on the edges to add some depth.

To finish off the card, I embossed and die cut a sentiment from the Life is Gouda stamp set on to dark brown paper with white embossing powder. I arranged the colored elements using foam tape for the larger images and liquid adhesive to tuck the smaller images underneath. The cutting board has a little hole in the handle and I added a little twine looped through it.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Love you S’more | Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Happy Friday! Welcome back for my last caffeinated card as guest designer on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog! It’s been a wild month for so, I’m so glad that I got to craft as a distraction! As much as I love summer, I am ready for all things FALL! It’s already looking like fall in my craftroom, as you can tell from today’s card, along with the one that I shared last week!

Copic Combos : 0, N0; BG 10, 11, 13; YR 14, 15, 12; E 57, 37, 15, 13

For today’s card, I started by stamping ALL the images from Honey Bee Stamps Love you S’more stamp set. I colored them using copic markers (listed above) and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Then I created the background for the images to pop on, using some Gina K Blue Lagoon Ink and Newton Nook Designs Mug Stencil. Alternating between foam tape and glue, I adhered the colored images to the card front. I created the sentiment using the new Bitty Buzzwords Fall Diecuts along with the Bitty Buzzwords Fall Stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps latest release. I stacked the word die cut “latte” three times using kraft paper, and embossed and cut off the “lets” from the “let’s get together” on a strip of brown cardstock. Lastly I added some jewels to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a great weekend and I hope you get some crafty time! Thank you Amy for this lovely opportunity!

Sunflower Mini Slimline | Honey Bee Stamps

Welcome back for day 3 of sneak peaks! Changing things up today and sharing a mini slimline card as an excuse to use the NEW Sweet Stacks: Mini Slimline die cuts! I also used the NEW Lovely Layers: Sunflowers Honey Cuts, which is currently my favourite layered floral.

To create this card, I started by die cutting the largest mini slimline die from dark brown card stock, and used the next size down from kraft paper. I inked up the Kraft piece using a light brown ink using the Basketweave stencil for a tone on tone look. For the sentiment I used the Thanks die cut from matte gold cardstock and stacked it three times.

Lastly, I created the sunflower by starting with die cutting all the pieces of the sunflower once, and the leaf three times. I inked up the leaves using two shades of green. For the sunflower, I inked it up using 3 shades of yellow, and 2 shades of brown for the center. After I finished inking the die cuts, I splattered them with water and black paint. I finished off by stacking with foam tape for added dimension and added it to the card base.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Paw-tumn is Paw-esome! | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Tuesday! Does it feel like Fall where you live? We are still enjoying the last days of summer, sadly there’s smoke floating around making it hazy outsides on certain days. Thankfully I have my crafty supplies to keep me busy when we can’t be outside!

Copic Marker Combos :
0; BG 11, 13; C 3, 5; E 15, 37, 42, 43, 55; R 01; Y 13, 15, 35; YG 03, 63, 67; YR 00, 15, 18

Today I created a fall themed card using mixing and matching some old and new products from Newtons Nook Designs. I started my stamping and coloring the large image from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set, and cutting it out using the coordinating dies.

Next, I created the background by stamping the Heathfelt Fall image slightly off set on to a piece of Kraft paper (which was trimmed down to be a little smaller than an A2 card panel). I stamped the sentiment from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set and embossed it in gold. Lastly I added a few strips of colored card stock that match the coloring to add a pop of color, along with some jewels to match.

I hope this card inspires you to create something for fall! Please make sure to stop by the Newton’s Nook Designs Blog for more inspiration and don’t forget to tag #NewtonsNook or #NewtonsNookDesign on Instagram to share what you created!

Mute Fall Rainbow | Honey Bee Stamps

Welcome back for day 2 of sneak peaks for the Autumn Splendor release coming soon from Honey Bee Stamps. Today I’m sharing a quick card using the new Autumn Splendor Cover plate die.

To create this card, I started by die cutting the Autumn Splendor Cover plate from Bristol Smooth cardstock and inked it up to create what I like to call, a “muted rainbow”. Just cause it fall doesn’t mean we have to leave our rainbows behind! I then added the die cut to a Kraft note card (another way to tone down the colors for fall cards!)

I wanted to keep this card on the simpler side so that it can inspire those who like to mass produce cards, so I finished it off with a stacked “thanks” sentiment cut from a matte gold card stock. And as always I added a few jewels to finish off the cards!

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Watering can floral arrangement | Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Friday! After a few hicups, it’s finally time to get started on sneak peaks for Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Splendor release! For my first peak I decided to play with my favorite stamp set from this release, Garden Harvest Florals.

To create this card I started by stamping all the images Garden Harvest Florals using brown copic friendly ink (leave the stamps in the MISTI as we will be re stamping after coloring!) and colored all the images with copic markers. After coloring, I stamped and embossed the images with gold embossing powder. Then I die cut them using the coordinating dies.

I created the background of the card using Kraft paper and light brown ink along with the Basketweave Background Stencil. I arranged the florals to create a bouquet, added a stacked sentiment using a word die from the Darling Dahlias coordinating Dies and some jewels.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Newton’s Nook Designs August Release – Day 4 – Signs of Fall + Coordinating Dies and Heartfelt Fall

Welcome back for the last day of reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I hope that y’all enjoyed all the inspiration I got to share with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Signs of Fall and coordinating dies, along with the Heartfelt Fall stamp set (that works with the Heart Frames & Banner Trio Dies). Here’s how I was inspired!

I didn’t want to take away from the beauty of today’s stamp set, so I added more to the background than layering on top!

For my first card, I started by stamping the Signs of Fall image onto Kraft paper and coloring with alcohol markers, and I cut it out using the coordinating dies.

Next I created the scene, starting with a sunset inked background, layered with some white pigment ink on the Petite Clouds stencil, once it dried, I layered a picket fence die cut, and some grass, also inked up, and finally added the Signs of Fall colored imaged with a “thank you” sentiment stamped and embossed on it.

For my second card, I started by creating a similar inked background to my card from Day 2 of Reveals, and added splatters of water and gold paint. While it dried I stamped and embossed the image from the Heartfelt Fall stamp set in gold onto vellum. Then I die cut it using the largest scallop heart from the Heart Frames Die Set. For the sentiment I die cut a banner using the Banner Trio Die Set and embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. I finished off the card by adding some jewels.

Fall Rainbow | Honeybee Stamps

Hi! Back again sharing a simple rainbow card, but with fall tones instead of bright! I don’t know if you have noticed or not, but Fall is one of my favorite seasons to craft for!

To create this card, I started by cutting down a A2 size card front from Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Next I stamped and embossed (in gold) the Harvest Blooms Background. While heat setting it, the paper warped a tad bit, so I ran it though my die cutting machine to flatten it out.

Next I inked it up in rainbow order using muted colors, perfect for fall! I finished off with some jewels and a stacked die cut “hello” from the Darling Dahlias die cuts.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!
