Tackling Another Year | MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 675

Hello again! Popping in super last minute with an entry for the latest MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 675, using yet again the same JB Touchdown! stamp set! As my friend said, the heart wants, what the heart wants!

Here’s how I was inspired. I also used the colors from the current MFT Stamps Color Challenge.

To create this card, I stamped a few of the images from the JB Touchdown! and colored them using the comics shown below.

Once I was done coloring, I used the coordinating JB Touchdown! Die-namics to cut out the images.

To create the background of the card, I embossed an A2 sheet of darker blue card stock with a cloud stencil. I also cut 2 smaller rectangles from light blue and green card stock. I cut the top edge green cardstock using a grass die and stamped a sentiment on the light blue rectangle. I adhered the green “grass” sheet to the blue sheet using foam tape and tucked the goal post behind the grass, and added the remaining colored images to finish the scene.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it! If you’d like to see more behind the scenes, I share a lot on Instagram

Simple Shaker Christmas Card | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Monday Crafty friends! I hope that you all had an amazing weekend, filled with exactly what you needed. My weekend was pretty productive, even with a sick kid, and I managed to squeeze in some crafting time! Hopefully I make a dent in my very long todo list today and get some crafty time as I have a card design floating in my head! Till that get’s created, sharing a card I made last week to inspire last minute holiday card makers. It’s quick and simple and took me mere minutes to make (and clean up!).

To create this card, I start by stamping the image from the Heartfelt Holidays Stamp Set on to an A2 card base using watermark ink and embossing it with white embossing powder. I inked up the images using distress oxide inks in twisted citron and salvage patina.

Next, I die cut the tree on an A2 piece of card stock using the die from the Christmas Trees Hot Foil Plates & Die Set and stamped a sentiment from the Heartfelt Holidays Stamp Set across one of the edges. I created a shaker window using acetate and foam tape and filled it with clear confetti. I finished of the card by adding the shaker window the inked up card base.

Tackling another year | MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 674

Happy Monday crafty friends! Guess who tackled their to do list today, and managed to squeeze in a little crafting without making a HUGE mess! Me! Popping in to share a fun card using the JB Touchdown! stamp set. I am so obsessed with this set! Today’s card is inspired by the current MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge 674.

Here’s how I was inspired!

To create this card, I stamped and colored some of the images from the JB Touchdown! stamp set, using copic markers. I die cut them out using the coordinating JB Touchdown! Die-namics.

To create the background of the card, I embossed an A2 sheet of blue card stock with a cloud stencil, and cut the top edge of an A2 sheet of green cardstock using a grass die. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set using black ink. I adhered the green “grass” sheet to the blue sheet using foam tape and trimmer off the excess. I tucked the stadium piece behind the grass, and added the remaining colored images to finish the scene.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it! If you’d like to see more behind the scenes, I share a lot on Instagram
