Pretty Pink Posh

Pastel Copic Coloring | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Friday! We made it to the weekend! I’m so excited to have plans this weekend, its been a loonnngggg start to the new year! Thankfully I had my crafty supplies to keep me distracted! Which also means lots of cards to share with y’all! Back with another card using Pretty Pink Posh products that are on sale!

To create this card, I started by stamping the row of hearts twice, one at a time to allow for double stamping and embossing from the Love Borders Stamp Set and colored it in a rainbow using copic markers in the following combinations :

Once the image was colored, I restamped it using embossing ink, and heat embossed it in with gold embossing powder.

Next I did some partial embossing above and below the coloring using the embossing Petite Hearts Stencil (similar from Pretty Pink Posh : Scattered Hearts Stencil). To finish off the card, I built the sentiment using the Love You Script DieLarge Floral Hearts Stamp Set and Simple Strips Dies, along with gold glitter card stock, black card stock and gold embossing powder. Finally added some jewels.

Plants Make My Heart Happy | Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Thursday! Woah it’s been a busy week so far here on the blog! I am really enjoying having higher energy levels to actually go more things then read in bed! As much as I like a good book, I enjoy other things too! Like crafting!

I finally got to use another new stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps, that I got just before the 2021 ended!

To create this card, I started by stamping one of the leaves and pots from the Happy Plants stamp set and colored it using copics, and die cut it using the coordinating dies.

Copic Combo : V01, 12, RV63; E13, 15, 37; YG03, 17, 67

To assemble the card, I layered a piece of green card stock with a die cut of the Mod A2 Cover Plate cut from the same color paper. Next I die cut a Swirling Leaves Pierced A2 Cover Plate from white card stock and trimmed it down using one of the die from the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles. Lastly I embossed a sentiment from the Hello Sweetheart stamp set in gold onto black card stock and cut it out using the coordinating die.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

LOVE | Pretty Pink Posh

Hello there friends! Hope that the week is going well! And if not, there’s only 2 days to the weekend! Sharing another CAS card today using some Pretty Pink Posh products that are on sale!

To create this card, I started by dry embossing one of the layers of the Layered Hearts Stencils. Next I stamped and colored the inner heart from the Floral Hearts Stamp Set using copics and then restamping and embossing it in gold.

Next I embossed the “LOVE” from the Love Stamp Set and inked it up using some distress ink in Abandoned Coral to create a red-pink ombre. I buffed it to get the extra ink off and die cut it using the coordinating dies.

I added the letters and the heart at the “O” to the embossed card front using foam tape.

Coffee and Copics | Reverse Confetti

Hello, Hello! I managed to finish my 4th card for the Caffeinated Christmas Card ChallengeSnowflakes that ends in a few hours and wanted to quickly pop in to share it!

To create today’s card I used a stamp set from Reverse Confetti, the sponsor of this challenge!

To create this card I started by stamping on of the mug images from the Brew It stamp set in a teal color and die cut using the coordinating die. I also stamped the copics from Honey Bee StampsLet’s Get Crafty and colored them with copics (B02, 05, 12 and C00, 1, 3), before die cutting them using the coordinating dies.

To create the background I used distress oxide inks (in tumbled glass, broken china and mermaid lagoon) along with the Falling Snow Background stamp embossed in white on to some Bristol Smooth card stock. After adding the color I die cut it using the Circle of Waves die cut. I layered all the elements on to an A2 card base and finished off with a few sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something and you get some crafty time this weekend!

Rainbow Birthday Wishes | Honey Bee Stamps

Hello Crafty Friends! Hope that y’all are having a fun and productive start to the week! I’m still working on that routine, especially motivated by the fact that the faster I get work and chores done, the more time I have to craft!

On to the card, today I’m sharing another card inspired by Carly T‘s rainbow shaker card, you can see the first card I made here.

To create this card, I started by inking up an A2 sheet of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using  distress oxide inks (in Shaded LilacSalvage PatinaTwisted CitronSpiced MarmaladeAbandoned CoralKitsch Flamingo). Then I splattered it with water, once that dried I added black and gold paint splatters.

I covered the inked panel using the (new) Mod A2 Cover Plate die cut from white card stock. I built the sentiment using the Birthday die cut, along with the Birthday stamp set. And as always I finished off my card using some rhinestones.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Hearts Make Me Smile | Pretty Pink Posh

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Monday! It’s been a minute since I have been on here with a Pretty Pink Posh card! Between the holidays break, guests and germs, I’m finally getting back into a “routine” and it’s been really fun digging into my stash to find new stamps that haven’t been inked as I’m on a “no spend” challenge! 6 more days to make it a month!! I heard rumors of a Pretty Pink Posh Birthday release in February, but thankfully I have been saving my gift cards for that!

Okay, back to the card! To create this card, I started stamping the “outer” hearts from the Floral Hearts Stamp Set and the Large Floral Hearts Stamp Set with light brown ink on to heavy weight white card stock, and colored them in with copic markers. Once the coloring was done, I restamped the images with watermark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder, and die cut them using the coordinating dies (Floral Hearts Coordinating Dies and Large Floral Hearts Coordinating Dies).

Next I created the background by embossing Petite Hearts Stencil (similar from Pretty Pink Posh : Scattered Hearts Stencil). To finish off the card, I built the sentiment using the Love You Script Die, Simple Sentiments Stamp Set and Simple Strips Dies, along with gold glitter card stock, black card stock and gold embossing powder. Finally added some jewels.

Get Cracking on Christmas | Newton’s Nook Designs

Woah, twice in one day! Well I made a card for #getcrackingonChristmas for Jenn Shurkus‘ monthly challenge and I couldn’t wait till next month, so here we are during nap time, racing against the clock to share this card!

I didn’t know where to start when I sat down to create this card, and then went through my “new” thought process to “get in the mood!”, and I’ll share with y’all too incase you need to find your mojo:
1. When to post? This was easy as get cracking on Christmas is every third Thursday of the month, this gave me a “deadline” of sorts.
2. Theme? Basically what stamp set I should use, I wanted to use on that I hadn’t inked up yet as part of my buy less, use more challenge! But I found like a dozen unused holiday stamps, oops. Then I stumbled upon Claire’s Card On Christmas Card Challenge and used her monthly theme of “Santa” as my starting point, and inked up this Dear Santa stamp from Newton’s Nook Designs.
3. Layout? Since my stamp was from Newton’s Nook Designs, I figured I would just check out there challenge blog, Inky Paws Challenge and found it was a sketch one! So, that’s what I used!
4. Color Scheme? well the stamp matched this pattern paper and I just took that as a sign!

Okay, enough about getting my mojo back! If you are here to create this card, then let’s get started. I stamped the image of Santa holding the presents from the Dear Santa, and colored it in using copic markers to match a scrap piece of pattern paper from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad, and die cut it using the coordinating dies.

Next I die cut a banner from the Frames & Flags Die Set from green card stock and embossed a sentiment in white from the Snow Much Cheer stamp set. I also embossed an A2 size card front of the same green card stock using the Holiday Foliage Stencil. Lastly, I die cut the patten paper using a stitched rectangle from the Frames & Flags Die Set. Once I layered all the pieces together, I added some jewels to finish off my card.

Copic Combos : B00, 02; R27, 29; Y13; C00, 1, 3, 5, 7; E11, 13

If you made it this far, thank you! If you are inspired by any of my work please tag me on Instagram as I would love to see your recreation!

Newton’s Nook Designs January Release – Day 4 – Love Bots + coordinating Dies

Happy Monday! It’s the first reveal week of 2022 over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Love Bots stamp set along with the coordinating Dies.

To create this card, I started by stamping two of the images from the Love Bots stamp set and colored them using copic markers (B00, 02; R14, 24; C00, 1, 3, 5, 7). Once done coloring I die cut them using the Coordinating Dies.

I finished off the card using the Petite Hearts Stencil. I masked off part of the card, and inked the rest up in a circular motion using distress oxide ink in Kitsch Flamingo. Then I added the stencil and added a second layer using Picked Raspberry distress oxide ink. After removing the mask, I stamped a sentiment and added a few confetti hearts to finish off the card.
