Pretty Pink Posh

Popping in with a short post to explain my disappearance! Little Baby R joined us 9 days early! We have been enjoying new baby cuddles, washing lots of bottles, changing diapers and adjusting to being a family of four in quarantine.

I’ve been wanting to break into my pretty pink posh baby collection for a while, and it finally happened 😆 took me over 3 days to make this card and 3 more trying to photograph and write up this post!

While making the card I learnt that coloring tiny images is not my thing! Next time I’ll probably ink blend or try another technique! Once my letters were colored (I used polychromos colored pencils) and die cut, I die cut an extra set of letters, and ink blended them to create a shadow. To create the background I used a heart stencil and again ink blended in rainbow order using the same colors as the ‘shadow’ letters. To finish off the card, I foam mounted the letters to the background and added some nuvo dots.

As always here’s a list of products I used :

Pretty Pink Posh Baby stamp set
Pretty Pink Posh Baby coordinating die
My Favorite Things Staggered Heart stencil
Distress Oxide Inks
Taylored Expression Blending Brushes
NUVO: Crystal Drops in Morning Dew
Faber-Castell Polychromos
Memento in tuxedo black
Hammermill heavy weight white card stock

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll hopefully be back soon with more cards and creativity! Till then subscribe to my blog and follow me on Instagram!

Stay safe, sane and crafty,
