Fall Florals | Honey Bee Stamps

Happy World Card Making Day and Happy Saturday crafty friends! I hope that you are having a great start to the weekend! I’m not going to get any crafting done today, but I have a fun card to share with y’all! To create this card :I loved playing around with all the new fun products from Honey Bee Stamps Fall release!

To create this card :

I started by stamping the largest image from the new Beautiful Blooms stamp set with brown copic friendly ink off set on an A2 card front as I wasn’t going to use the whole image. I colored the image using copic markers, then restamped with VersaMark watermark ink and Lawn Fawn gold embossing powder to emboss. Next I die cut the colored image using Beautiful Blooms coordinating dies.

These are the copics I used.

Next stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Beautiful Blooms stamp set in gold, I trimmed off the “hello” and used a hello die cut from the Darling Dahlias die set. I die cut it 3 times from kraft card stock and once from golden glitter card stock and stacked them.

Next I embossed the front of a card, using the Ornate A2 Cover Plate – Base die cut. This cover die doesn’t have an edge so it’s great for die cutting directly on to a card base. Next I layered it with a die cut using the Ornate A2 Cover Plate – Top die cut.

I finished off the card my layering all the elements using foam tape and liquid adhesive, and added a few sequins as a final touch.

Thanks for following along today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something!

Till the next time, take care!

Simon Says Stamp – Newton’s Nook Designs STAMPtember® 2022 Exclusive Collaboration

Hi Crafty Friends! I’m super excited to share today’s STAMPtember exclusive collaboration with Newton’s Nook Designs! This fun Warm and Cozy Wishes stamp set that’s perfect for cozy holiday cards, and just because cards!

I created my card using a fall theme, cause y’all know I love all things fall! I started by stamping the sofa from the Warm and Cozy Wishes stamp set along with Newton the cat, and two cushions, and colored them using copic markers, and fussy cut the images as I don’t have the dies. Next I stamped the large image from the Fall Friends stamp set. I only colored part of the images and fussy cut it.

These are the copic combos I used.

To finish off the card, I cut a strip of pattern paper from the Autumn Paper Pad, and added it to the bottom of my card front. Next I added the sofa image using foam tape, then I tucked in the partial images from the Fall Friends stamp set behind the sofa images so that you can’t see the incomplete part. I finished off my adding the cushions and cat on to the sofa using liquid glue, and stamping a sentiment.

I hope you like this adorable set and the card I’ve made! Thanks so much for stopping by today and if you like this set, grab it before it sells out! As it’s a STAMPtember exclusive and won’t be restocked!

Pumpkin Spice and Fall Leaves | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Tuesday! Welcome back to my crafty corner on the internet! Always grateful for y’all stopping by! So, how many stamps are too many on one card? Well, let’s keep count and circle back after the card details have been shared!

I love fall crafting and this card is a true representation of that love! To create this card, I started by stamping the image from Newton’s Mug, before starting to color, I also stamped the pumpkin in the center from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set. I colored the image using copic markers (shown below), and die cut it out using the coordinating Newton’s Mug Die Set.

I assembled the card, starting with a card base dry embossed using the Falling Leaves Stencil. Next I heat embossed the image from the Fall Fringe stamp set in gold on to vellum, I trimmed it down using my paper trimmer, and offset it on the card base.

For the sentiment, I used one from the Signs of Fall stamp set, and embossed it in gold, on to a banner die cut from the Frames & Flags Die Set and teal card stock. Lastly I added the colored image to finish off the card.

So, what do you think, too many stamp sets? I’ll try and make a simple card next time!

CAS Fall Floral Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday! I hope that y’all had a productive start to the week! My Monday was so productive I’m ready for the weekend, LOL! Well more like I’m ready for my crafty time!

Popping in today to share a card I made using the new Honey Bee Stamps release! I loved ALL the fall things from this release, so I’m so glad that I got to play with some!

To create this card, I started by stamping one of the images from the On The Line: Fall Florals stamp set with brown copic friendly ink onto white card stock. I colored it in using the colors shown below and then die cut one side only using the coordinating On The Line: Fall Florals die cuts.

To finish off the card, I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the same On The Line: Fall Florals stamp set with gold embossing powder. And added it to a card front layered with the Ornate A2 Cover Plate Base along with the Ornate A2 Cover Plate Top Dies.

I hope you enjoyed this quick CAS card! Make sure to tag @honeybeestamps and me, @everydayengineered, if you are inspired by this card and create something!

Fall Themed Thank You Cards | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Tuesday! Hope that you’re week started off well and you get some crafty time soon! I know it doesn’t feel like Fall, but I got a little excited with the new release from Newton’s Nook Designs and couldn’t put it away, so sharing some cards today using the new Autumn Oval stamp set! Its the newest addition to the Oval Collection and works with the previously released Oval Frames Die Set.

To create these cards, I started stamping the large image from the Autumn Oval stamp set on to both white and kraft paper paper using light brown alcohol friendly ink.

I used the same copic markers to color on both sheets, as you can see the Kraft sheet tones down the colors, making it perfect for fall! Once I was done coloring I restamped the image and embossed it with gold. Next I die cut them using one of the scalloped oval die cuts from the Oval Frames Die Set. I also die cut smaller stitched ovals with the same die set and embossed the sentiment on to it.

Before adding the cards to alternating card fronts, I added a few strips of pattern paper from the Autumn Paper Pad, then layered on the oval die cuts, and as always finished off with some sequins.

Newton’s Nook Designs – Day 4 –  Harvest Haul and Newton’s Crate + coordinating dies

Happy Thursday and welcome to the last day of reveal week at Newton’s Nook Designs! I’ve had so much fun sharing a ton of inspiration with you this week! It might not feel like fall outside, but it sure looks like it’s here in my craft room! Today we are showcasing the Harvest Haul and Newton’s Crate stamp sets with their coordinating dies. Here’s how I was inspired!

Today’s set might be mini’s but they pack a punch! I love how the sentiments fit into the crate from Newton’s Crate and the Harvest Haul stamp set is going to be fun for making scene cards!

For my first card, I started by stamping the image from Newton’s Crate and coloring it using copic markers. After I was done coloring I die cut it using the coordinating die.

After die cutting the image, I stamped and embossed a sentiment on to the crate using white embossing powder.

I finished off the card by inking up a card base using the Falling Leaves Stencil and distress oxide inks in Wild Honey, Scattered Straw and Shabby Shatters. I added a strip of pattern paper from the Autumn Paper Pad, then added the die cut image, along with a few sequins.

For the second card, I started by stamping the truck image from the Harvest Haul stamp set on to Kraft paper, and the leaves on white card stock and colored it with copic markers. Then I die cut it using the coordinating dies.

Next I embossed a sentiment from the Harvest Haul stamp set on to a strip of white paper.

I finished off the card using a piece of pattern paper from the Autumn Paper Pad to create the card front, and then added the sentiment strip, along with the colored truck image. Lastly I added a few of the colored leaves as accents instead of sequins!

Happy Thanksgiving | Honey Bee Stamps

Woah! What a day it’s been, long pre-thanksgiving to-do list, kid 1 caught the sniffles and I committed to a baking job, AND I have a card project due tonight. Why I ask, why do I do this to myself LOL. It’s okay, I have a to-do list, I’m not making a turkey, so I have a ton of time till 1PM tomorrow. Make a plan, stick to it, and things will get done. I digress. Let’s get to today’s card so I can move on to the next thing.

After a long 18-ish months, its been more than heartwarming to be able to gather, so my card to dedicated to all those who can finally travel, and create new memories cause we are always better together!

To create this card I stamped, and colored many of the images from the Better Together stamp set. I used copics, and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. I also stamped and embossed the sentiment on to black card stock using gold embossing powder and die cut it using the coordinating die.

Next I inked up a piece of card stock slightly larger than an A2 size with distress inks (abandoned coral, dried marigold, crushed olive and salvage patina). I sprayed it with water and then splattered some gold paint on it. Once it dried I die cut it using the Autumn Splendor Cover Plate.

I added the die cut panel to a Kraft card base and then added the colored images along with the sentiment and as always finished off with some jewels.

Happy Thanksgiving crafty friends!

Pretty Pink Posh

Pumpkin BABY Slimline | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Tuesday! This weekend I got to meet my friend’s October baby, and since my friend loves all things pumpkin, I decided to make her a pumpkin baby card using a mix of new and old Pretty Pink Posh products. This card is part of my recent attempt to make “baby” cards with non baby stamps!

This was definitely one of my more “detailed” cards, so of course I made it over multiple days! I started by stamping two of the largest images from the Fall Corners Stamp Set onto Kraft paper using brown copic friendly ink. I colored in the images using copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next I created the background for the card, starting with die cutting a stitched slimline panel from white cardstock. I arranged all the smaller images from the Baby Stamp Set on to an acrylic block and created and white heat embossed background on to the stitched panel. Once it cooled, I ink blended it using distress oxides in Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemon. After inking I buffed the panel to make sure the white pops through!

For the sentiment I die cut the word “BABY” using the Baby Coordinating Dies, from matte gold paper, and the “welcome” from the Welcome Little One Script Die using golden glitter card stock. I added the “baby” to the center of the card and layered the “welcome” on it. I finished off my added the colored pumpkin images using foam tape and added some jewels from the Harvest Jewel Mix.

Copic Combo : E13, 15, 37; YR04, 07, Y17; YR16, 18, Y15; G21, 24, 28; G94, 99; YG03, 63

CAS Fall card | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Friday y’all! I am popping in quickly with a CAS card I put together last night, after I found some colored images from the Cozy Fall Critters Stamp Set. I created another card using the same stamp set, you can find the details here.

As the images were already colored, the card came together pretty quickly! I started by Adding the Leaves Background Stencil to an A2 size piece of white card stock, then I masked of most of it using post it tape. I ink blended using distress oxides in Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, and Peeled Paint.

For the sentiment I fussy cut out the “hello” from the Hello Shaker Die after die cutting it from brown glitter card stock and stacked with Kraft paper. After adding the colored images with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape too add a tad bit of dimension. And as always I finished off with some jewels! I used the harvest jewel mix.

Fall Birthday Card | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Thursday y’all! Almost done with the week and time for some crafting over the weekend! I don’t know about you, but fall going into winter is probably my favorite season to craft! Especially since it’s perfect time to use all those sunflower (and poinsettia) stamps! I love making season birthday and thank you cards, it helps make the post of your stamps too!

For today’s card, I designed it around the Falling Leaves Stencil, I ordered it a while back, but it fell to the bottom of the pile and I just never used it!

To create the card, I started by stamping and coloring (with copic markers) the sunflower image from the Sunflower Days Stamp Set and fussy cutting the image (you can also use the coordinating die).

Copic Combo : Y15, 17, 38; YG 06, 23, 25; E 13, 15, 37

Next I created the background using distress oxide inks (in wilted violet, spun sugar, scattered straw) and white texture paste. I started by inking up an A2 sheet of Bristol Smooth card with the distress oxide inks, and splattered the sheet with water and white paint. Once it dried I layered the Falling Leaves Stencil, and added the texture paste. I let it dry a few hours before adding the colored images using foam tape, and a sentiment from the Birthday Roundabout Stamp Set stamped on a banner from the Banner Trio Die Set. And as always I finished off the card with some jewels.

I hope this card inspires you to create something for fall! Please make sure to stop by the Newton’s Nook Designs Blog for more inspiration and don’t forget to tag #NewtonsNook or #NewtonsNookDesign on Instagram to share what you created!
