Rainbow Shaker | Not 2 Shabby Stamps

Happy March! Did it crawl up on you too? I haven’t done my monthly planning NOR have I finished by February to do list! Let’s just say today is going to be busy! So let’s get to it!

Remember the cookie background I created using the Sprinkled with Love from Not 2 Shabby Stamp (I used it here and here), well let’s just say I’m pretty obsessed with it! So I decided to try it out in the new mini slimline size! I started by printing it out on heavy weight white cardstock, then ink blending with distress oxides (in Kitsch Flamingo, Festive Berries, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass). Then I trimmed it down with the stitched Mini Slimline Stacklets then I die cut the word ‘happy’ to create a shaker, I used alpha dies from CZ Designs ALL CAPS and the birthday is from Pretty Pink Posh scripted Happy Birthday (stacked 3 times). To create the shaker, I backed the diecut sheet using acetate, layered it with foam tape, and filled it with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix. Lastly I backed the shaker front with a Petite Scallop Mini Slimline Stacklets.

Thanks for stopping by the blog! Hope you have a great week!

Printing on Vellum | Not 2 Shabby Stamps

Happy Friday! It’s been a long week! Super excited for the weekend and fingers crossed it goes better than last weekend!

I recently discovered that you can print digital images on vellum! I haven’t experimented past printing, but I think this is going to open up a lot of possibilities on using digital stamps!

Last month I created a ‘stamped background’ using the Sprinkled with Love from Not 2 Shabby Stamp. I decided to make another ‘5 min card’ as I call them using the same background, but printed on vellum this time. After printing, I trimmed it down, backed it with some pattern paper and added a stacked die cut sentiment. Lastly I added some clay confetti.

Have you tried printing on vellum? Would love to see your cards, be sure to tag me on Instagram (@everydayengineered)!

Monochormatic #Manuary Birthday Card | Not 2 Shabby Stamps

Happy Friday! Yay weekend! My plans include hot drinks, crafting and slow cooker chili! Maybe some cookies, we’ll see!

And speaking of cookies, it’s all over my card today! I used the chocolate chip cookie image from Not 2 Shabby Stamp’s Sprinkled with Love stamp set, copy pasted it multiple times to create a background. After printing it, I die cut it using a scalloped rectangle and added a die cut sentiment cut from brown glitter cardstock, and added a few jewels.

This card is part of Crystal Komora’s #manuarycards. If you are inspired please remember to tag her! And if you want to make masculine cards ALL year, then tag #manuarycardsallyear.
