Happy Friday! It’s been a long week! Super excited for the weekend and fingers crossed it goes better than last weekend!
I recently discovered that you can print digital images on vellum! I haven’t experimented past printing, but I think this is going to open up a lot of possibilities on using digital stamps!
Last month I created a ‘stamped background’ using the Sprinkled with Love from Not 2 Shabby Stamp. I decided to make another ‘5 min card’ as I call them using the same background, but printed on vellum this time. After printing, I trimmed it down, backed it with some pattern paper and added a stacked die cut sentiment. Lastly I added some clay confetti.
Have you tried printing on vellum? Would love to see your cards, be sure to tag me on Instagram (@everydayengineered)!

Happy Monday y’all! It’s release day over at Joy Clair Designs! My ‘official’ term with them ended yesterday, but I didn’t want to leave without creating a little something with the new release!
I made two cards using the Forever Friends Digital Stamps. For my first card, I sized the floral image to fit on a A2 size card front (after printing I die cut it using a scallop rectangle die). I colored the image using copics (R85 – RV 34 – 11 and YG 01 – 03 -06). For the sentiment I edited the stamp to create a happy birthday strip and used my Cricut to cut the word ‘friend’. To finish off I ink blended an A2 card base along with the ‘friend’ die cut with victorian velvet distress oxide. Lastly I added some nuvo drops.
For my second card, I used the same image from the Forever Friends Digital Stamps, this time printing it along with the sentiment for a single layer card.
I printed it a second time on printer paper and fussy cut it to create a mask, using it along with some post it tape, I inked up a rectangle area using distress oxides (in squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, and abandoned coral).
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to hop long over at the Joy Clair Designs blog! I had a great time creating for Joy Clair Designs over the past 6 months and maybe I’ll pop in once it a while using their products!

Hi there! Popping in today with an quick card using digital stamps from Joy Clair Designs. I used the layering trick again to add a floral image to a coffee cup! We all know that I love me some coffee cards!
I used the coffee cup from the Coffee Mood stamp set and the flower from the Hello There stamp set, both of which are digital! That means no masking! Just layering the png files! After printing and coloring, I fussy cut it out. I ink blended the card base and added a piece of pattern paper, before adding the colored image with some foam tape. And stamped a little sentiment strip using the driving by clear stamp set.

Hello there! These cards have been in draft mode for wayyy to long! Here’s to hoping that I actually hit publish today! These two cards are made using digital images from Stamplorations.
One of my favorite things about digital stamps is being able to resize them! You can find more details on how made these cards plus links to products on the Stamploration Blog.

Hi back again for a quick post! I’m sharing a one layer card made with some digital stamps from Joy Clair Designs.
I decided to keep this card single layer as I didn’t want to take away from the Rose Heart image from the Full Heart Digital Set so I sized it along with a sentiment to fit on a A2 panel. After coloring it with copic markers, I foiled it to add some shine, trimmed it down and added it to a coordinating card base.
And now I can share the theme for my next “ammismakecards” instagram hop with fellow mommy crafters! It’s ‘single layer’, no dimension, no foam tape, no layers! You get the idea 🙂 If you’d like to join, please send me a message on Instagram and I’ll add you to the group text!

3 Day streak on the blog! Say What!! Maybe 2021 is turning around for me! Popping in today with a easy card that I made using images from Joy Clair Designs. I still can’t get over how easy it is to create layered images using digital stamps!
To create the image I layered a teacup from the Coffee Mood Digital Set, with the flower image from You Are Digital Set. After coloring the image using copic markers, I fussy cut it, layered with pattern paper and added the sentiment from Hello There Digital Set, with a little ink blending to help everything blend together for a more complete look.

Till the next time, stay safe and keep crafting,

Hi there! Popping in today with a fun and QUICK card! No stamping required! I used a single digital stamp for this stamp! Yup just the one.
I started with the flower image from the You Are digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs. I resized it and layered it multiple times to create a background. After printing, I trimmed it down to an A2 size and ink blended it using distress oxides to create a pink ombre. To finish off the card, I embossed the sentiment from the Driving By clear stamp onto a diecut banner.

Hey y’all! Welcome back to the recently neglected blog! I’ve still been posting over at Joy Clair Designs and on my Instagram account, just haven’t had the time to blog each card I made! But I’m super excited to be back today to share a coffee (well tea!) themed card as part of National Coffee Day!
If you didn’t already come here from Joy Clair Designs blog, make sure to head over there, as they are giving away one gift card of $15 dollars of Joy Clair Designs Store (valid for stamps only) to a randomly chosen comment on the blog post.
Here’s the card I made for the hop! I used the Cup of Joy digital stamp set, and attempted a pastel look because I’m trying to hold on to summer!
I started by printing and coloring one of the images from the Cup of Joy digital stamp set using copic makers (colors listed below). Since I can’t figure out how to use my cricut, I just fussy cut the images, but I did die cut the sentiment with a banner die cause I cannot for the life in me draw a straight line!
To finish off the card, I used a piece of pattern paper die cut with a cover die, and adhered the tea cup image and sentiment using some foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today! If you would like to get this or any other coffee themed stamp from Joy Clair Designs, they are on sale! Use code : NCD2020 to get 25% off. Code valid till Oct 2nd.
Lastly, don’t forget to stop by the Joy Clair Designs blog and leave a comment for a chance to win a $15 gift card to the Joy Clair Designs Store.

Welcome back to the blog! I thought that I would pop in today with a quick and easy card. I say easy even after I made like a bunch of mistakes while making it!
Firstly I forgot to print a statement till the card was done, so y’all get a sneak peak the the new September release! Then I tried to stamp on the acetate, but my stazon ink pad was dry! And lastly, I feel like the images could have been a little larger! Why I am still sharing the cards? Well I want to show y’all that no one is perfect! And the end results weren’t the worst!
Enough chit chatting, let’s get to the cards! I started by resizing and printing the flower and leaves from the Prized Life Digital Set. Then I colored and fussy cut the images. Then to create the window card base, I started by ink blending the front using a stencil. I cut out about 1.5 inches in the middle of the card front, adhering the two pieces using some acetate. I covered the back of the acetate with white card stock to hide the adhesive. At this point you can use stazon ink to stamp the sentiment onto the acetate, but since my was dried out, I stamped it above and below the window. Lastly I adhered the colored images from the Prized Life Digital Set using some foam tape on to the acetate.
Thanks for stopping by! If you create a card using the Prized Life Digital Set please tag me (@everydayengineered) and @joyclairstamps! Don’t forget to stop by again on the 9th for the new release!
