Pretty Pink Posh

Rainbow Monsters | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Saturday! I usually avoid blogging/social media on weekends, but I really wanted to share this card I made with Pretty Pink Posh’s Halloween release before the Fall release comes out tomorrow! I love ALL the products in the new release and honestly can’t help but want them ALL!

As you probably know, I’m not big on Halloween, but these monsters caught my eye as I can use them for fun birthday cards for little boys (and girls)!

To create this card, I started by stamping ALL the image from the Monster Hugs stamp set and colored them in using copic markers. Color combos listed below. Next I cut them out using the coordinating dies.

I couldn’t decide which monster images NOT to use, so I decided to make a square card using them ALL! I started by die cutting the largest stitched square from Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Squares Die Set. I attached the die cut square to the Grid Stencil and inked it up to create a diagonal rainbow using distress oxide inks. I used the following colors : Spun Sugar, Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, and Shaded Lilac.

Once the ink dried, I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the cardbase, and added the colored monsters in the ‘squares’ with foam tape. Lastly I added the card front to a Kraft notecard.

Copic Combos : N0; BG 10, 11, 13; YG 00, 01, 03; RV 21, 23, 25; Y02, 11; YR 14, 16, Y35

Charcuterie from Paper! | Honey Bee Stamps

Welcome back for the last day of sneak peaks for the Autumn Splendor release coming tonight from Honey Bee Stamps. Today I’m sharing a quick card using the new So Char-CUTE-rie stamp set along with some coordinating products! This set is so much fun to color and use!

To create this card, I started by stamping and coloring all the images from the So Char-CUTE-rie stamp set (sone of then multiple times, but I also ended up not using all of them!), and die cutting them using the coordinating dies.

Next I started to create the “scene” for the card, staring with a Kraft A2 card base, then I added another layer to be the “table cloth” using the Quilted A2 Cover Plate die, cut from Kraft card stock and inked up with a light pink ink and the coordinating Quilted Hearts & Dots Stencils. I added it offset to the card base and trimmed off the edges. The last piece before adding the colored images, was the “cutting board”, I die cut the Cutting Board die from the same Kraft paper, but this time added a bit of brown ink on the edges to add some depth.

To finish off the card, I embossed and die cut a sentiment from the Life is Gouda stamp set on to dark brown paper with white embossing powder. I arranged the colored elements using foam tape for the larger images and liquid adhesive to tuck the smaller images underneath. The cutting board has a little hole in the handle and I added a little twine looped through it.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Love you S’more | Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Happy Friday! Welcome back for my last caffeinated card as guest designer on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog! It’s been a wild month for so, I’m so glad that I got to craft as a distraction! As much as I love summer, I am ready for all things FALL! It’s already looking like fall in my craftroom, as you can tell from today’s card, along with the one that I shared last week!

Copic Combos : 0, N0; BG 10, 11, 13; YR 14, 15, 12; E 57, 37, 15, 13

For today’s card, I started by stamping ALL the images from Honey Bee Stamps Love you S’more stamp set. I colored them using copic markers (listed above) and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Then I created the background for the images to pop on, using some Gina K Blue Lagoon Ink and Newton Nook Designs Mug Stencil. Alternating between foam tape and glue, I adhered the colored images to the card front. I created the sentiment using the new Bitty Buzzwords Fall Diecuts along with the Bitty Buzzwords Fall Stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps latest release. I stacked the word die cut “latte” three times using kraft paper, and embossed and cut off the “lets” from the “let’s get together” on a strip of brown cardstock. Lastly I added some jewels to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a great weekend and I hope you get some crafty time! Thank you Amy for this lovely opportunity!

Paw-tumn is Paw-esome! | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Tuesday! Does it feel like Fall where you live? We are still enjoying the last days of summer, sadly there’s smoke floating around making it hazy outsides on certain days. Thankfully I have my crafty supplies to keep me busy when we can’t be outside!

Copic Marker Combos :
0; BG 11, 13; C 3, 5; E 15, 37, 42, 43, 55; R 01; Y 13, 15, 35; YG 03, 63, 67; YR 00, 15, 18

Today I created a fall themed card using mixing and matching some old and new products from Newtons Nook Designs. I started my stamping and coloring the large image from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set, and cutting it out using the coordinating dies.

Next, I created the background by stamping the Heathfelt Fall image slightly off set on to a piece of Kraft paper (which was trimmed down to be a little smaller than an A2 card panel). I stamped the sentiment from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set and embossed it in gold. Lastly I added a few strips of colored card stock that match the coloring to add a pop of color, along with some jewels to match.

I hope this card inspires you to create something for fall! Please make sure to stop by the Newton’s Nook Designs Blog for more inspiration and don’t forget to tag #NewtonsNook or #NewtonsNookDesign on Instagram to share what you created!

Watering can floral arrangement | Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Friday! After a few hicups, it’s finally time to get started on sneak peaks for Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Splendor release! For my first peak I decided to play with my favorite stamp set from this release, Garden Harvest Florals.

To create this card I started by stamping all the images Garden Harvest Florals using brown copic friendly ink (leave the stamps in the MISTI as we will be re stamping after coloring!) and colored all the images with copic markers. After coloring, I stamped and embossed the images with gold embossing powder. Then I die cut them using the coordinating dies.

I created the background of the card using Kraft paper and light brown ink along with the Basketweave Background Stencil. I arranged the florals to create a bouquet, added a stacked sentiment using a word die from the Darling Dahlias coordinating Dies and some jewels.

I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!

Newton’s Nook Designs August Release – Day 3 – Fall Friends + Coordinating Dies and Heartfelt Gourds

Welcome back for day 3 of reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Fall Friends stamp set and coordinating dies, along with the Heartfelt Gourds stamp set (that works with the Heart Frames & Banner Trio Dies). Here’s how I was inspired!

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, mostly because I love all things pumpkin, except PSL, can’t stand that one LOL. So you can only imagine my excitement when I saw the Heartfelt Gourds stamp set!

Best things about fall crafting is pumpkins AND Kraft paper!! So of course I had to combine them both on to my first card using the Heartfelt Gourds stamp set! To create this card I started by stamping the Heartfelt Gourds image with brown ink on to craft paper using a stamp positioner. After coloring it, I stamped it again with watermark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder, and die cut it using the largest scallop heart from the Heart Frames Die Set.

I adhered it on to an A2 card front cut from pattern paper, and die cut the word “fall” from the Fall Friends coordinating die set, from the same pattern paper, along with a mini heart. I embossed the “Fall is calling” sentiment from the Heartfelt Gourds stamp set, and cut off the “fall” and trimmed it down to a strip, and added it to the card using some foam tape.

For my second card, I used the Fall Friends stamp set to create a simple scene card. Since the image from the stamp is so detailed, it’s basically as scene! I stamped it with brown ink on to some Kraft paper and colored it using alcohol markers. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the set on to banner die cut from the Banner Trio Die Set.

I finished off the card, by creating a inked background similar to a fall sun set, and added clouds using the Petite Clouds stencil and some texture paste. Once the paste dried I added the colored image along with the sentiment banner, and a few jewels.

Lawn Fawnatics

Card Sketch | Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 106

Happy Saturday! I have a million things to catch up from after 2 weeks of solo parenting, and I’m baking for events this weekend! Like woah, do I even remember how to bake?!? But while I was waiting on the oven, I decided to make a card instead of cleaning up! I didn’t have much time to think it out, so decided to use the current Lawn Fawnatics Sketch!

After using my Finstatic Friends stamp set multiple times, I decided to get the dies! So of course I decided to use the stamp set again! It’s one of my first ever stamp sets, and it’s been fun to use it again!

To create this card, I started by stamping all the fish images from the Finstatic Friends stamp set and coloring them with Copic Markers (listed below) to create a rainbow. Then I die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next I created the background using a waves stencil and distress oxide ink in Salvage Patina, adhering it to the card front at an angle and making off parts of the stencil for a diagonal look.

To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the same Finstatic Friends stamp set with black ink on to the stenciled area, and adhered the colored fish images using foam tape, and added some jewels, cause all cards need a little bling!

Copic Combo : R05-14, YR14-16, Y13-15, G03-21, B32-34, V12-15

Thanks for stopping by today, hope y’all have a great weekend!

DIY Coffee Background | Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Happy Friday! I hope that everyone had a productive week and some caffeinated crafty time to look forward to this weekend! I’m up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today sharing some more inspiration using one of my first and favorite coffee stamp sets from Newton’s Nook Designs, Newton Loves Coffee.

To create this card, I started by stamping some of the smaller images from Newton Loves Coffee and Cup of Cocoa, and stamped all over an A2 card front with watermark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Next I inked up the edges with Brushed Corduroy distress oxide ink, leaving the center white.

Next I stamped and colored the image from Newton’s Mug with copic markers and die cut it with the coordinating die. I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the mug, and adhered it on to the center of my DIY background card front. Finally added some jewels to finish off the card.

Rainbow Espressos | Coffee Loving Cardmarkers

Thank you Amy for inviting me to guest design for the month of August, I’m super excited not only for all the caffeinated craftness I get to share, but also all the fall themed products I’ll get to use!

For my first post I thought that I would use a set that this blog enabled me to buy, but I hadn’t used it till now! To create this card, I started by stamping all the images from the A Breve Note stamp set from Ellen Hutson. I colored them to create a rainbow using copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies

Next I inked up a A2 card front using the Triangles Stencil using Distress Oxide Inks in Ground Espresso, Brushed Corduroy, and Frayed Burlap. After the ink dried, I embossed the sentiment using versafine onyx ink and clear embossing powder. I finished off the card by stacking the colored die cuts with foam and glue to create dimension, and lastly added some espresso jewels.

Pretty Pink Posh

PNW Coast Inspired Card | Pretty Pink Posh

We spent 4th July weekend on the islands west of Seattle, and as soon as I saw the lighthouse in Port Townsend, I thought about the Pretty Pink Posh Nautical stamp set, and knew I had to use it to create the scene!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you have probably seen as shift in my card making style! I have been trying to make more scene-critter cards and it’s been fun!

To make this card, I started by coloring the boat and lighthouse from the Nautical stamp set, and cutting it out with the coordinating dies. I also stamped and colored some clouds, and the sun from the Fly a Kite stamp set, and cut them out to using the coordinating dies.

Next I inked up two pieces of paper, one with brown ink for the sand, and the second with blue ink to create the water/sea. I added water splatters, along with some black paint splatters to add some depth to the paper. Once it dried, I die cut the brown piece using the Stacked Edge 1 dies, and the water with of the the Stitched Waves dies.

Last piece of the scene was the sky which I create by lightly inking up the card front with some light blue ink, and then dry embossing it with on of the Layered Cloud Stencils, cause you cannot have a PNW sky without some clouds!

I assemebled the card with some glue and foam tape to add dimension, and finished off my stamping the sentiment from the Nautical stamp set, along with some of the birds that I colored in with a black marker.
