Pretty Pink Posh

Baby Shaker Card | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Friday Crafty Friends! I hope that you had a great week! I haven’t had a chance to craft in a few days (but I did make a Cricut project, you can see it here!), but I am working on getting chores done, so I can escape to the craft room during the weekend! In the meanwhile, I’m going to share a CAS baby card that I made a while back and totally forgot to share!

One of my favorite things to do these days is customize my cards and gifts! This card was for my cookie besties baby, Paul! Click here to see the gift that went with the card!

To create this card, I started by stamping 3 of the smaller images from the Pretty Pink Posh Baby Stamp Set. I colored them using copic makers and die cut it using the coordinating die. Next, I die cut the word “baby” using the Baby Script Die from light blue card stock, 3 times and stacked them, to match copic coloring.

To create the shaker, I die cut the name “Paul” using the Lawn Fawn Henry’s ABCs, from an A2 card front and backed it with some acetate an added the center piece of the “A”. For the back of the shaker I added a little ink blending with green, blue and purple. It’s hard see in the picture as I ended up overfilling my shaker pocket!

After I was done ink blending, I added foam tape to create the shaker, filled it with glitter and star sequins, and closed it off with the ink blended panel.

I finished off the card by adding the stacked word die cut, along with my colored die cut images.

Thanks for following along! I really hope this inspires you to create something new or attempt something you have been avoiding!

Baby Laundry Card | Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Wednesday! I hope that your week has started off well! I am still playing catch up from July, and I can’t believe that it’s August! But I am excited about ALL the fall crafting!! Farhana from Everyday Engineered and popping in today with a fun baby card! I combined a few products from Honey Bee Stamps to make this CAS-ish card!

To create this card, I started by heat embossing the Spring Blooms Background stamp with watermark ink and white embossing powder.

Next I inked blended over it using distress oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, and Peacock Feathers.

Using the Simply Hexagons die from Pink Fresh Studios, I die cut the inked background to create a partial background for the card front. I also die cut a ruffle onesies from some pattern paper using one of the dies from the Bundle Of Joy die set.

Next I played around with some sentiments for the front and inside of the card, from the Inside: Welcome Baby Sentiments stamp set. I just a few strips of pattern paper to match the front of the card and pull it all together.

I finished off the card by stamping/embossing the sentiments, and gluing everything together using a combination of foam tape and liquid adhesive.

Thanks for following along today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something!

Till the next time, take care!

Pretty Pink Posh

Baby Card | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Wednesday y’all! The sun came out, so I went out, and thus this post is being typed (and hopefully posted) in a small window of time before it’s dinner time!

Sharing a rainbow-ish baby card today that won’t take you days to create!

To create this card, I started by inking up one layer of the Layered Hearts Stencils with pink pink and the second layer with light blue ink.

Next I embossed the “BABY” stamp from the Baby Stamp Set on to white card stock with white embossing powder. I ink blended it in a green to yellow ombre, and buffed it to make the white pop through again. I die cut the letters using the coordinating dies and added them to the inked card front using foam tape.

I finished off the card by embossing “congratulations” from the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set using gold embossing powder on to a black strip die cut using the Simple Strips Dies. And as always I added some jewels.

Pumpkin BABY Slimline | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Tuesday! This weekend I got to meet my friend’s October baby, and since my friend loves all things pumpkin, I decided to make her a pumpkin baby card using a mix of new and old Pretty Pink Posh products. This card is part of my recent attempt to make “baby” cards with non baby stamps!

This was definitely one of my more “detailed” cards, so of course I made it over multiple days! I started by stamping two of the largest images from the Fall Corners Stamp Set onto Kraft paper using brown copic friendly ink. I colored in the images using copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next I created the background for the card, starting with die cutting a stitched slimline panel from white cardstock. I arranged all the smaller images from the Baby Stamp Set on to an acrylic block and created and white heat embossed background on to the stitched panel. Once it cooled, I ink blended it using distress oxides in Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemon. After inking I buffed the panel to make sure the white pops through!

For the sentiment I die cut the word “BABY” using the Baby Coordinating Dies, from matte gold paper, and the “welcome” from the Welcome Little One Script Die using golden glitter card stock. I added the “baby” to the center of the card and layered the “welcome” on it. I finished off my added the colored pumpkin images using foam tape and added some jewels from the Harvest Jewel Mix.

Copic Combo : E13, 15, 37; YR04, 07, Y17; YR16, 18, Y15; G21, 24, 28; G94, 99; YG03, 63
