Happy Tuesday! It’s the first reveal week of 2022 over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Orchids stamp set along with the coordinating Dies.
To create my card, I paired it with the new A7 Frames and Banner Die Set that was revealed yesterday.
To create this card, I started by stamping the Orchids image from the stamp set twice with copic friendly ink on to heavy weight white card stock, and colored in using copic markers (BV02, 00, 000; BV04, 08; Y17, 15; E15, 37; C00) and die cut them using the coordinating Dies.
Next I created the card front by die cutting all the layers of the A7 Frames and Banner Die Set. I left the base and the frame in white, but inked up the stitched rectangles using distress oxides in Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. I tried to add the Petite Hearts Stencil with white pigment ink, but it didn’t really work as my purples were too light but don’t worry I have more card with the stencil!
I finished of the card with two sentiments from the Orchids stamp set embossed in gold and add the Orchids using foam tape and finished off with some jewels.
