Birthday Latte | Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends! Popping in with a coffee themed card I made for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Believe it or not, the coffee mug stamp is more than 3 years old and it was BRAND NEW in my stash!

To create this card, I started by stamping the coffee mug from the Pumpkin Spice stamp set three times, colored them with copic markers and fussy cut them. I also stamped, colored and fussy cut the two cupcakes from the Baked with Love stamp set. Next I found a sheet of smiling coffee beans pattern paper, from who knows when and trimmed it down to an A2 size.

I die cut the Giant Happy Birthday from Kraft card stock to coordinate with the background and added it adhered it to the pattern paper. Next I arranged and adhered the colored images to the bottom of the card panel using foam tape. I finished off the card with jewels as usual!

Pumpkin BABY Slimline | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Tuesday! This weekend I got to meet my friend’s October baby, and since my friend loves all things pumpkin, I decided to make her a pumpkin baby card using a mix of new and old Pretty Pink Posh products. This card is part of my recent attempt to make “baby” cards with non baby stamps!

This was definitely one of my more “detailed” cards, so of course I made it over multiple days! I started by stamping two of the largest images from the Fall Corners Stamp Set onto Kraft paper using brown copic friendly ink. I colored in the images using copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next I created the background for the card, starting with die cutting a stitched slimline panel from white cardstock. I arranged all the smaller images from the Baby Stamp Set on to an acrylic block and created and white heat embossed background on to the stitched panel. Once it cooled, I ink blended it using distress oxides in Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemon. After inking I buffed the panel to make sure the white pops through!

For the sentiment I die cut the word “BABY” using the Baby Coordinating Dies, from matte gold paper, and the “welcome” from the Welcome Little One Script Die using golden glitter card stock. I added the “baby” to the center of the card and layered the “welcome” on it. I finished off my added the colored pumpkin images using foam tape and added some jewels from the Harvest Jewel Mix.

Messy Watercolored Florals | Pinkfresh Studios

Happy Monday y’all! Hope that everyone had a great, crafty weekend and is adjusting well to time the time change! I’m popping in today to share my first post as part of the ScrapbookPal Design team! I was lucky enough to guest design for them last month, you can see the post here! If you know me, then you probably know that I love creating with floral stamps! So of course I jumped at the chance to create with the Pink Fresh Studio’s Dahlia Bunch stamp set. I usually do most of my coloring with COPIC markers but this stamp seemed the perfect one to watercolor!

To create this card I, stamped the image from the Dahlia Bunch stamp set using watermark ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder onto watercolor paper. Next I chose out the color palette I wanted to use on the card. To watercolor I used Distress Inks in worn lipstick (mini cube), spun sugar (mini cube), wilted violet (mini cube), shaded lilac (mini cube), shabby shutters (mini cube), and mowed lawn (mini cube).

Then, I watercolored the embossed image by smooshing the distress ink on to a smooth surface and adding water before bringing it to paper. Once it dried, I diecut it out using the coordinating die.

While the watercolored panel was drying, I started working on the background for the card. I picked out the matching lighter shades in distress oxides to create an ink blended panel. I used peeled paint, spun sugar, and shaded lilac. To add some depth to the background, I added splatters of white and gold paint. I also die cut a panel from using the Pinkfresh Studio Simple Hexagons and splattered it with some gold paint too.

While the watercolored panel was drying, I started working on the background for the card. I picked out the matching lighter shades in distress oxides to create an ink blended panel. I used peeled paint, spun sugar, and shaded lilac. To add some depth to the background, I added splatters of white and gold paint. CAS Fall card | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Friday y’all! I am popping in quickly with a CAS card I put together last night, after I found some colored images from the Cozy Fall Critters Stamp Set. I created another card using the same stamp set, you can find the details here.

As the images were already colored, the card came together pretty quickly! I started by Adding the Leaves Background Stencil to an A2 size piece of white card stock, then I masked of most of it using post it tape. I ink blended using distress oxides in Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, and Peeled Paint.

For the sentiment I fussy cut out the “hello” from the Hello Shaker Die after die cutting it from brown glitter card stock and stacked with Kraft paper. After adding the colored images with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape too add a tad bit of dimension. And as always I finished off with some jewels! I used the harvest jewel mix.

Fall Birthday Card | Newton’s Nook Designs

Happy Thursday y’all! Almost done with the week and time for some crafting over the weekend! I don’t know about you, but fall going into winter is probably my favorite season to craft! Especially since it’s perfect time to use all those sunflower (and poinsettia) stamps! I love making season birthday and thank you cards, it helps make the post of your stamps too!

For today’s card, I designed it around the Falling Leaves Stencil, I ordered it a while back, but it fell to the bottom of the pile and I just never used it!

To create the card, I started by stamping and coloring (with copic markers) the sunflower image from the Sunflower Days Stamp Set and fussy cutting the image (you can also use the coordinating die).

Next I created the background using distress oxide inks (in wilted violet, spun sugar, scattered straw) and white texture paste. I started by inking up an A2 sheet of Bristol Smooth card with the distress oxide inks, and splattered the sheet with water and white paint. Once it dried I layered the Falling Leaves Stencil, and added the texture paste. I let it dry a few hours before adding the colored images using foam tape, and a sentiment from the Birthday Roundabout Stamp Set stamped on a banner from the Banner Trio Die Set. And as always I finished off the card with some jewels.

make the sentiment the star | LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE #112

Happy Wednesday y’all! I don’t think I have shared this before, but Lawn Fawn stamps were some of my first “real stamps” in my collection! This is waayyy before I started shopping for stamps online and stumbled upon them at my local craft store! And in all honestly I haven’t use them as much, mostly cause I wasn’t the best at coloring! But now that I am super confident with my copic marker coloring skills, bring on all the stamps! I’ve also been slowly adding coordinating dies as I didn’t have those cause I didn’t even have a die cutting machine back then!

Enough chit chat! Let’s get to today’s card! It was inspired by a party goodie bag my daughter got and I matched the current challenge over at Lawn Fawn, so of course I had to finally finish making it and share!

It’s been a while since I’ve made a card in one seating and woah … the copics that I used on this! Any guesses? Scroll down to count them as I have them listed!

Like all my card, I started by creating this card by stamping all the images from the Out of This World stamp set. I colored them with copics, trying to be as realistic as possible! Then I die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next I created a galaxy background on black card stock using Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, Cracked Pistachio, Scattered Straw, and Black Soot. I splattered it with water and silver paint and let it dry. Once dry, I die cut it using the Twinkle Slimline Die. I backed it with some grey cardstock.

For the sentiment I die cut the Giant Happy Birthday from silver and grey cardstock. I layered them a little off set to create a shadow. I adhered it to the middle of the card front and added the colored images to create the universe! I covered the I with the spaceship image.

Seed Bead Shaker Card | Pretty Pink Posh

Happy Sunday y’all! I usually don’t blog/share on weekends, but I couldn’t resist sharing this non traditional color Fall cards using some new-ish products (and bonus! all the products are used at on sale till 11/1!).

When I started creating this card, I really wanted to see some of my seed beads to create a shaker, but after die cutting the shaker card, I didn’t want to let the inked die cuts go to waste so made a second card!

For my first “main” card, I started by inked up an A2 piece using distress oxides in Speckled Egg, Victorian Velvet, and Spun Sugar. Next I splattered it with water, and gold paint to add some texture. Next I die cut a random collection of dies from the Falling Leaves Coordinating Dies to cover most of the card front. After die cutting the inked background I kept the die attached in the same pattern and cut a piece of fun foam to help create the shaker.

To create the shaker, I backed the die cut panel with some acetate and then added the foam layer, and filled it with seed beads to match the ink blending. I used Aquamarine, Blush, and Cotton Candy from the Posh Seed Bead Bundle. I added it to a A2 top folding card base and finished it off with the Thank You Script Die cut from matte gold paper.

I was about to trash the die cut leaves, along with the foam cut outs, and I was like, wait I can make a second card! I used black ink to stamp the coordinating images on to the die cuts from the Falling Leaves Stamp Set, and then attached them to the matching foam die cuts. I added the Thank You Script Die cut from matte gold paper to the center of another A2 top folding card base and arranged the leaves around it.
