Newton’s Nook Designs October Release – Day 2 – Holiday Home & Christmas Cactus + coordinating Dies

Happy Tuesday! It’s reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! It might not be the holiday season yet, but it sure looks like it’s here in my craft room! Today we are showcasing the Holiday Home & Christmas Cactus stamp sets along with their coordinating Dies! Here’s how I was inspired!

Y’all know that I love floral stamps, so I’m so excited to add the new Christmas Cactus stamp set to my collection!

For my first card, I stamped and colored the image from the Christmas Cactus stamp set twice using copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next I inked up an A2 piece of card stock along the edges with pink ink, leaving a little white space in the middle. I stamped the sentiment from the same Christmas Cactus stamp set, and added the colored images around it using foam tape and finished off with some jewels.

For my second card using the Holiday Home stamp set, I started by stamping the largest image in the set, coloring with copic markers, and die cutting using the coordinating die.

Next I created the shaker by stamping a sentiment from the same, Holiday Home stamp set on to the card base. Then I embossed an A2 piece of card stock using the Snowfall Stencil, and cut the shaker window using the largest window die cut from the Snow Globe Shaker Die Set. I backed the shaker front with acetate, added foam tape and filled it with shaker bit before adding it to the card base. Lastly I added the colored image next to the shaker window.
