Happy Mon- oh wait it’s Wednesday! Thats what happens when its a long weekend + you take extra time off to sneak in one last summer vacation before its all things Fall!
Sharing a really easy card today, one that’s a great way to start transitioning into fall colors!
To create this card, I started by adhering the solid layer of the Scattered Leaves Background Stencil to some Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I inked it up with Distress Oxide Ink in a Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemon and Ripe Persimmon, and added the second layer of the stencil to add the details using white pigment ink. This toned down the bright colors and made it more muted for Fall!
To finish off the card, I die cut two circles using the largest of the circles from the new Sweet Stacks Circle dies, to create the base and used the next one to cut the inked panel. I stacked the sentiment die “thanks” using golden glitter card stock as the final layer to finish off the card.
I hope that this inspires you to create something crafty at the end of your day! If you do, and share on Instagram, be sure to tag me (@everydayengineered) and Honey Bee Stamps (@honeybeestamps)! We love to see what you create!
