Here on a Sunday? Oops! I had started taking weekends off, but then #thedailymarker30day challenge started, so I kinda got hooked, not a good thing though! I plan on going back to my weekends off on come September!
Today’s card is a “easier” version of my own summer wreath card that I posted a few days ago! I know that not every has the time (or patience!) to create a detailed coloring card, so I wanted to use the same products for a simple and less time consuming card.
To create this card, I started by add Deco Transfer Gel Duo over the squiggles stencils, and let it dry till it was tacky. Then I ran it thought my mini minc machine layered with a sheet of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet (in Sky Blue). I peeled it off and saved the negative too as it’ll make for another fun background!
Next I stamped and embossed (in white) the wreath image from the Summer Wreath stamp set, and inked it up with distress oxide inks. I buffed it when I was done ink blending to let the white embossing pop through the ink. I finished off the card with the script Happy Birthday die cut, cut twice from light blue card stock and stacked, along with a sprinkling off some Caribbean Blue sequins.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you were inspired to create something! Make sure to tag me @everydayengineered and @prettypinkposh on Instagram and join the Facebook group so that we can see what you have created!
