Hey there! Welcome to the blog for some fun with Honey Bee Stamps! They are celebrating their 6th Birthday and there’s a ton of giveaways and freebies with purchase! Make sure to head over to my Instagram for a giveaway!
Today I’m sharing a floral card (you know me!) using a stamp set from an older release, Farm Fresh Flowers stamp set.
I started by stamping, coloring using copies and die cutting the images using the coordinating dies. Then I heat embossed the a thin sentiment from the same Farm Fresh Flowers stamp set on to the jug.
Happy Monday! I hope y’all had a crafty weekend, I didn’t do my usual paper crafts, but I tried ceramic painting for the first time! I can’t wait to see what I finished product looks like!
Today’s card is a ‘stretch your supplies’ type of card. I used the Spring Borders Stamp Set from Pretty Pink Posh, stamping the strip of butterflies multiple times and embossed it with white embossing powder to cover the entire A2 piece of heavy weight card stock.
Happy Thursday! For the first time in FOREVER I have weekend plans, A LOT of them! So keeping this short so I can go and tackle my LONG to do list and getting straight to the card!
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I love embossing and florals! Meaning I’m super excited about spring and creating with ALL the florals stamps!! For this card, I used the Peony Blooms Stamp Set from Newton’s Nook Designs. I stamped the images with a light brown ink, colored with copic markers (RV14-13-10, YG23-13-03) and then stamped with watermark ink and embossed in gold. Since I don’t have the Peony Blooms Die Set I fussy cut the images.
I hope this card inspires you to create something for spring! Please make sure to stop by the Newton’s Nook Designs Blog for more inspiration and don’t forget to tag #NewtonsNook or #NewtonsNookDesign on Instagram to share what you created!
Welcome to my first installment for my latest ‘project’, Eid on the Feed! I personally feel that I don’t connect on a Eid/Ramadan level with many creators out there, so here’s hoping that this helps me meet other creators with my style of creating.
For my first post, I created some chocolate stirring spoons that are perfect for goodie bags and sharing with friends, as most of us are still in some form of lockdown, unfortunately.
I have seen different forms of this floating around on the internet, so I decided that I need to add a little ‘eid’ flair to it! You can stamp, color or even draw your own designs on it, but I decided to use some lovely washi tape from The Write Aesthetic. I used the Masjid Garland and Moon & Lantern, wrapping them around some wooden spoons. Them I dipped them in melting chocolate (I use this one). Before letting it harden, I added some gold and purple sprinkles to match the washi tape (and my favorite Ramadan color combo!
I am going to print a tag (and probably add washi tape too it!) with instructions to dip it in boiling milk! If you were inspired by this, and create something for Eid, please tag me on Instagram, using @everydayengineered OR #eidonthefeed!
Happy April! How are we already in the second quarter of 2021?!? I feel like March 2020 was literally yesterday, which is basically when I colored these tulips stamps! It took me a year to make and share a card, any one else have a stash of colored images that you will use, ‘one day’.
