Watercolored tulips | Honeybee Stamps

Happy Thursday! Well it’s almost Friday, so basically happy weekend! I posted this card as part of Honey Bee Stamps Instagram Spring Bliss Release Hop, but never got around to blogging about it! So here we are 🙂

To create this card, I started by heat embossing (in black) the bouquet from the Spring Joy Bouquet stamp set. I watercolored it VERY SLOWLY using Koi watercolors. I’m a totally newbie so it took me a really long time to finish the inage. Then I die cut it using the coordinating die.

To assemble the card, I die cut the Quatrefoil A2 Cover Plate – Top from a sheet of pattern paper from the Playful Pastels paper pad. I added the bouquet image with some foam tape along with a sentiment embossed in gold from the Pickup Lines stamp set.

What coloring medium would you use to color this image? I usually default to copics but decided to try something a little different this time!

Happy Crafting!
