Newton’s Nook Designs January Release – Day 1 – Heartfelt Love & Heartfelt Roses Stamp Sets + Heart Frames Dies

Happy Monday! It’s reveal week over at Newton’s Nook Designs and I’m so excited to share a ton of inspiration with you this week! Today we are showcasing the Heartfelt Love & Heartfelt Roses Stamp sets and the Heart Frames die set. Here’s how I was inspired!

For both the cards, I wanted to make sure that the image is the focal point, so I didn’t ‘bling’ it up too much!

For my first card using the Heartfelt Love stamp set, I stamped and colored it using some copic markers, then I die cut it using the largest scallop die from the Heart Frames die set. I backed it with some pattern paper, die cut using the Frame and Flags Die Set. Finally I added my sentiment, embossed on some black cardstock, die cut with the Banner Trio Die Set.

For my second card, I used the Heartfelt Roses stamp set embossed onto some ombre pattern paper, trice. Then I die cut it using the smallest scallop heart from the Heart Frames die set. To create the card front, I die cut some light blue paper using the scallop rectangle from the Frame and Flags Die Set and inked it up to create an ombre effect. I adhered my trio of heart with some foam tape to add dimension. Lastly I embossed a sentiment from the same set.
