Welcome back to the blog! Today I’m sharing another card inspired by the August BRI mood board. It’s a great way to get the creative juices flowing, and also challenging yourself to used different color combinations! I’ve also been challenging myself to use all my new stamps, so for this card I took out the Hibiscus Flowers from Pretty Pink Posh, I got this last summer!

For this card I started by stamping all the floral and leaves (multiple times) on copic friendly card stock. Then I copic colored (color combos listed below) and fussy cut the images (seems like I don’t have the dies!)

To assemble the card I started by stenciling part of the card front using the Tropical Background Stencil stencil and Fresh Ink in Island. I stamped the sentiment from Everyday Greetings Stamp Set using black ink and highlighted with a circle frame from the Beach Scene Die. Finally I adhered the flowers with some foam tape to add dimension and the leaves underneath them.

I just finished making another card using the same mood board, fingers crossed I’ll post it soon! Hope I have inspired you to create something today!

Thanks for stopping by and as always, here’s a list of products I used;

Till the next time, stay safe, sane and crafty!
